This unit describes competencies required to prepare accurate bill of quantities. It involves reviewing project documents, calculating cost of the project elements and presenting the
prepared bill of quantities.

This unit specified the competencies required to perform training in electrical workshop practice technology. Competencies required includes; applying EHS standards, conducting lighting circuits installation, performing power circuit installation, implementing call and alarm systems installation, performing wiring and maintenance of electrical machines, and finally maintaining power supply equipment and systems.

This unit covers general philosophical, technical, and practical consideration in the design, arrangement, and modification. The unit also intends to give direct assistance to the execution of responsibilities relating to shop planning, organization, and management of learner’s activities with the shop used in schools and colleges.
